Now that all our systems seem to be working properly, we traveled south along the mainland coast. Though we did get in some descent sailing, light winds and sloppy seas made for an uncomfortable two day cruise. We anchored off Bahia San Ignacio with lots of resting fishing boats on the 16th. We were so exhausted! It was quite a relief to sleep.
On the 17th we motored to the channel to enter Topolobampo where we proceed to hit ground! Jim likes to tell this story because I was at the helm when we went aground. However I have to remind him that we had a disagreement in how to follow the bouys that marked the long and winding channel, and was following the "captain's orders" that went against the direction that I thought we should go. No worries though as the tides and current were working in our favor, and we were floating again in short order.
